Privacy Policy
Effective and last updated: July 28, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Stonewake Software LLC ("Stonewake," "we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with the Only Sets Android application, the Only Sets feedback service, and related beta-testing services. Only Sets is developed and published by Stonewake Software LLC, Minnesota, USA.
Privacy summary
- Only Sets does not require an account for its core workout-tracking features.
- Your routines, exercise details, workout logs, notes, and body-weight history are stored locally on your device and are not sent to Stonewake as part of normal workout logging.
- Anonymous usage analytics and crash diagnostics are separate, optional features that require your consent.
- Feedback is sent only when you choose to submit it.
- Only Sets has no advertising, does not use an advertising identifier, and does not sell personal information or workout data.
Information stored locally on your device
Only Sets stores the information needed to operate the app on your device. Depending on how you use the app, this may include:
- Routine and workout-day names
- Built-in and custom exercise names
- Workout dates, sets, repetitions, weights, durations, and completion status
- Exercise and workout notes
- Body-weight entries and history
- Draft workouts, progression settings, display preferences, and other app settings
Stonewake does not receive this local workout content through the core app. You can remove local data by using available deletion controls, clearing the app's storage through Android settings, or uninstalling the app. Depending on your Android and device-backup settings, the operating-system provider may independently include app data in a device backup. Stonewake does not control those backups.
Optional anonymous usage analytics
Only Sets asks for permission before enabling anonymous usage analytics. If you allow analytics, the app may send a randomly generated installation identifier, app version and build number, Android version, device manufacturer and model, screen or feature names, event names, limited exercise or set counts, bucketed workout durations, and non-sensitive error codes.
Analytics are used to understand which features are used, where users encounter friction, whether workouts are completed, and how the app performs. Analytics do not include exercise names, routine names, exact weights, exact repetitions, body weight, workout notes, feedback text, name, email address, contacts, location, advertising identifiers, or hardware identifiers.
Analytics are off unless you affirmatively allow them. You can change your choice in Only Sets Settings. Disabling analytics removes the locally stored analytics installation identifier and queued events. Previously received analytics may not be individually identifiable because the random identifier is not connected to an account or identity.
Optional crash diagnostics
Only Sets provides a separate setting for crash reports and technical diagnostics. If you allow crash diagnostics, the app may send error messages, stack traces, app and operating-system versions, device model, timestamps, and related technical state needed to identify and repair failures. Stonewake uses Sentry for this purpose.
Stonewake configures crash diagnostics to avoid personally identifiable information, workout content, screenshots, attachments, session replay, and workout-related navigation values. Crash diagnostics are off unless you allow them, and you can disable them in Settings.
Feedback and support information
When you submit feedback, Stonewake receives the category and message you enter. You may optionally provide an email address for follow-up. If you choose to include technical diagnostics with feedback, the submission may also include the app version, build number, Android version, device manufacturer and model, current screen, timestamp, and a random installation identifier only when analytics consent is active.
Do not include sensitive health information or other information you do not want Stonewake to receive in a feedback message. Feedback is stored separately from anonymous analytics and is used for support, bug investigation, product planning, and communication about your report.
Beta applications
If you apply for the Only Sets beta through the Stonewake website, we may collect your name or username, Google Play email, Reddit username, Android device details, training background, current tracking method, and application answers. This information is used to select testers, provide access instructions, communicate about testing, and understand the range of devices and training styles represented in the beta.
Updates, distribution, and standard network information
Only Sets may connect to Google Play and Expo services to check for, download, and install application updates. Those providers may process standard device and network information under their own privacy policies. When the app contacts Stonewake, Cloudflare, Sentry, Expo, or Google services, those providers may transiently process standard request information such as an IP address for delivery, security, abuse prevention, and reliability. Stonewake does not store IP addresses in its Only Sets analytics records or use IP addresses to profile users or derive precise location.
Device permissions and data we do not access
As of the effective date, Only Sets does not request access to your precise or approximate location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos, SMS messages, call logs, or advertising identifier. The app uses internet access for optional analytics, optional diagnostics, user-initiated feedback, and application updates.
Service providers
Stonewake uses limited service providers to operate Only Sets:
- Cloudflare — API hosting, security, and database storage for analytics, feedback, and beta applications.
- Sentry — optional crash reporting and technical diagnostics when you consent.
- Expo — application build and over-the-air update infrastructure.
- Google Play and Android — application distribution, installation, updates, and platform services.
These providers process information on Stonewake's behalf or as independent platform providers under their own terms and privacy policies. Stonewake does not permit information submitted to its service providers to be used for third-party advertising.
How information is used and disclosed
Stonewake uses information described in this policy to:
- Operate, maintain, secure, and improve Only Sets
- Diagnose crashes, bugs, and performance problems
- Respond to feedback and support requests
- Manage beta participation and access
- Prevent abuse and protect Stonewake, its users, and its systems
- Comply with applicable law and enforce legal rights
Stonewake may disclose information to the service providers listed above, when required by law or valid legal process, when reasonably necessary to investigate abuse or security incidents, or as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of business assets subject to appropriate protections. Stonewake does not sell personal information, workout information, or analytics data.
Retention and deletion
- Local workout data: remains on your device until you delete it, clear app storage, or uninstall the app, subject to any independent device backups.
- Raw anonymous analytics: retained for no longer than 90 days unless a longer period is reasonably necessary to investigate a security incident or meet a legal obligation.
- Crash diagnostics: retained for no longer than 90 days unless needed to investigate an unresolved technical or security issue or meet a legal obligation.
- Feedback, beta applications, and support correspondence: retained while reasonably useful for testing, support, product planning, security, or legal obligations, then deleted or de-identified.
You may request access, correction, or deletion of information reasonably associated with your email address by contacting privacy@stonewakesoftware.com. Stonewake will verify and respond to requests as required by applicable law. Truly anonymous or de-identified records may not be identifiable for an individual request.
Accounts
The current version of Only Sets does not create user accounts for the core app. There is therefore no Only Sets account to delete. If account-based cloud or social features are added later, this policy and the app will be updated with account and data-deletion procedures before those features launch.
Security
Stonewake uses data minimization, HTTPS encryption in transit, access controls, input validation, and other reasonable administrative and technical safeguards. No storage or transmission system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Children
Only Sets is not directed to children under 13, and Stonewake does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The current closed beta is limited to participants age 18 or older. Contact Stonewake if you believe a child has submitted personal information so it can be reviewed and deleted where appropriate.
International processing
Stonewake is based in the United States. Information sent to Stonewake or its service providers may be processed in the United States and other countries where those providers operate, which may have different data-protection laws than your country.
Changes to this policy
Stonewake may update this policy as Only Sets changes. The effective date at the top of this page will be revised when the policy changes. Material changes affecting optional data collection will also be reflected in the app or its consent disclosures where appropriate.
